Drink Toppers

What can be printed on your toppers: any image, photo, logo, barcode or QR code may be printed on your drink toppers as long as it is not too dark or too light and has enough contrast.

What types of drinks would work best: the drink toppers will NOT cloud your drink or affect it’s taste or color. Edible Drink Toppers work best on top of a frothy drink with milk or cream base such as cappuccino and latte coffee, smoothie or frothy cocktail. Beer foam works great, too. If you plan to use your drink toppers on clear drinks, they will look best on lighter colored beverages.

Turnaround: your products will be custom created for you within 48 hours (2 days). Please estimate your Pick-up / Shipping dates accordingly. Request turnaround time for quantity over 2000 circles/units.

Print Quality and Images:
PLEASE NOTE: the print quality on Drink Toppers is somewhat limited by the texture of the paper. I do recommend high-contrast, light color images. Mostly lines or text. Avoid larger areas of intense or very dark color, they will result in moisture warping of the surface. Very light-colored images may print even lighter. Images with black backgrounds or intense color saturation will be refused.
Please, submit the largest file you could find for better print quality.

Color disclaimer: The color you see on your screen / monitor will be very close on print, but not exact.
1. Due to the many variations in monitors, tablet and phone screens and browsers, colors may appear different on different devices. Computer and phone monitors are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise.
2. Even though I do carefully calibrate my printers to the best color output possible, please remember that I use edible ink and paper and not an offset printing process. If you need a color match for your logo, I’d need you to bring me the printout of it in advance and order a test print before a larger batch.

How to use: Your drink toppers will come to you as a set of pre-cut individual circles which are ready to use. Handle with clean dry hands. Simply place it on top of a beverage making sure to not get the top of your picture wet.  It will melt into the surface of your drink after 20-30 seconds to form a skin. Once you finish your drink, the skin will remain on the bottom of your glass to be later discarded / rinsed (it is water soluble).

Storage: the Edible Drink Toppers will last a long time, for up to a year, if kept sealed in a zip-lock bag, away from direct light and humidity.
Curling may occur in high humid conditions. It does not affect the taste, freshness or performance however.

Ingredients: potato starch, water, vegetable oil, food color ink.
